Just Take a Moment in Time with SSS!

I haven't been around much as we have BIG life changes happening here. Our beloved Goddaughter.... who has been living with us for the last 15 months....will be leaving our care sometime soon. It's bitter pill to swallow, as not all involved believe her mom is ready for this. It is out of our hands and in God's now...we are just praying for her safety and soaking up as much time with her as possible before she's gone!

I wanted to share another creation from the Moments in Time release from Simon Says Stamp. These cards feature my FAVORITE from the release, Vintage Blooms. It's just so pretty and has so many possibilities! This is a tri-fold card and I regret that I didn't take a video of how the card looks...it's so cute!!

This first card was inspired by the Trellis Room at the Greenbriar. I love the combination of the mint and hunter greens with lavender and hot pink! GORGEOUS! One of my most favorite rooms there!

The front of the card was created by inking a A2 card panel with SSS Spring ink. Over that, the flower images were stamped using Pine ink. The florals were then colored in using alcohol ink markers from Altenew and highlighted with a white gel pen.

There is a floating panel of acetate between the trellis made with the Ribbon Quilt die set from the release...my previous post was all about this die set, check it out here..... The front sentiment was stamped onto vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder. It was then added over the acetate panel which is showing off the inside stamped with the Thank You Text background stamp showing through. When you open the card, you can see another stamped floral and a second sentiment added from the stamp set. Finally, Leaf Glitter Drops from Pinkfresh were added for some sparkle!

This next card I shared on Instagram on the day of the release. Check out the details here on my page.

This shaped card was created using the same technique and stamp set as the first card....ink blending a panel, stamping the image, alcohol ink on the flowers....super easy and SO effective!

The shape was created using SSS new Squoval Wafer dies from the last release You're My Favorite. It's fresh and unexpected for a card shape!

The vellum panel was stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then the sentiment was stamped on white cardstock with Pine ink and fussy cut out. Finally, the cute little butterflies from the Bright Butterflies die set were double layered with cardstock colored with alcohol ink to match and vellum over top. Cute little Iridescent gems from Altenew were added for some sparkle!

I hope you've been inspired to create with this fantastic stamp set! I'll have the other cards from the release later in the week.

Have a colorful day!
