STAMPTEMBER is almost over?!?!

Can you believe STAMPTEMBER is almost over?! All the products that have been so adorable...I've definitely spent a small fortune this month...don't tell the hubby.

This is another card I made for the STAMPTEMBER release, and I LOVED this stamp set! It is called Pumpkin Blessings, and in true Simon Says Stamp form, it has all the 'acoutremon' with stencils and dies to complete the set. That's one of my favorite things with SSS...full sets!!! For this card, not all the accessories were used, just the stamp and stencil set to create a one-layer card.

The image was stamped with Simon Says Stamp's Woodsy ink to start. The rest is just easy peasy lemon squeezy with those coordinating stencils! You can use any shades of fall you want. I opted for traditional orange and yellows for my pumpkins and sunflowers. The fun part of making a 1 layer card is you can layer as many stencils as you want to get some added texture to your card. The background was added with the Tweed Hearts stencil and a light swipe of Cabbage ink.

Another idea is to use a linen stencil for some added texture to make the ribbon look like fabric! That's an idea I'll have to use for next time... Speaking of the ribbon, it was inked with a little Latte to give it more dimension. Finally, I had to add some sparkle with a little Wink of Stella on the pumpkins and flowers, as well as Spellbinder Gems.
That's it for today, be sure to get those Stamptember releases as they hit each day...they are limited and oh so worth it!
Have a colorful day!
