Besties with SIMON SAYS STAMP's Release Friends Like You!

Hi all!

Are you lucky to have an amazing friend group? I love my girlies...all 5 of them! Friends since 1993 and my ride or die ladies. Simon Says Stamp has an AMAZING release happening today called Friend Like You with products focusing on the besties in your life!

Today, I have 2 cards to share using the For the Birds stamp set. It's too cute with the little bird house and has other items in the release to coordinate with it.

This clean and simple card can be created as a one-layer card, but I love dimension so the adorable little bird house has been popped up on some foam layers. The little house with the double holes is so cute, perfect for adding a friend to the house... and with the other sentiments in the set, the perfect friend card can be created!

The house was colored with alcohol markers and a little bird from a stamp set called Tweet Friend....March's Card Kit....was added to one opening using a masking technique.

The branch with the leaves was added to the card base for the house to hang from. The leaves are single stamps so you can keep it simple or fill the branch up with leaves if you'd like. The sentiment was also stamped on the card base to keep this design as simple as possible.

The second card uses the telephone line included in the stamp set. It was repeat stamped across the background for some texture onto Altenew Misty Morning card stock.

The bird house can be created in any color, and pink is my signature color....... The house was again colored with alcohol markers. It gave the house a very retro 60's pattern kinda feel to it and I dig it!

The sentiment was added to the card panel which was trimmed to 4x5.25" to give it a little white frame. Finally, a few enamel dots from Altenew to match were added to highlight the sentiment.
