ALTENEW's Secret Garden Retreat was amazing!

Hi all!

So...I was supposed to be at Disney this weekend... Instead, I was able to participate in Altenew's Secret Garden retreat, and let me say, it did NOT disappoint!

I've done 4 virtual and 1 in-person retreat with Altenew, and each one is filled with amazing products, instructors and people. I love how they do their virtual events with Zoom, as it allows the participants to see each other, so it's like a huge party! If you haven't had the chance to do one of these events, try and make it happen. They are worth EVERY PENNY! One bummer for you...the items we received are exclusive for the retreat. If they end up releasing them to the public, I will let you know. Until then, you will have to be jelly of me...sorry!

One of my favorite sets from the retreat is the One-Go: Friendship Flowers set. OMG...it's addicting... I've been making flowers up the wazoo for 3 days and there is no end in sight! My favorite are the monochromatic colors I've been doing, and with the addition of the fabulous door from the Paneled Door set...it's just perfection!

This card, I created with the Color Hues challenge in mind. Blue and yellow is a favorite combination for me...Michigan fan since birth. This set looks like porcelain when it's done with monochromatic colors and the blue is like Royal Copenhagen Danish pottery, just beautiful!

I used Altenew's Marine Life color family for this and die-cut it with the coordinating die. This door die set has a die that will cut out 3 edges, but leave the last edge as an embossed edge so you can hinge the door open...genius!

I have so many other ones to share with you in the coming days, so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Have a colorful day!

Your monochrome background reminds me of Tuile du Jour patterns or Delftware plates, so pretty. The yellow for the door, being complementary, makes the blues bluer. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues. :)
